    1. I think they should probably make more $$ if they are trying to cure diseases, improve crops and help clean up our environment- kinda important.

  3. Laboratory assistant- They handle a lot of lab duties and tasks such as, making detailed observations, analyzing data, and interrupting results. They also keep lab supplies organized and in good condition. Some also may write summaries on different experiments. For an entry- level position, one needs at least an associate degree in science and have from none to two years of laboratory experience. This is a great occupation to get started in a laboratory setting and open up higher level positions for the future or even climb to the top in that particular profession depending on where you work and how the hands on experience is.

  5. Product Development Engineer- A product development engineer, at the entry level, is responsible for the design, development, modifications to, and enhancements of existing products and processes. The position is involved in new product scale-up, process optimization, technology transfer, and process validation. He or she ensures that processes and design implementations are consistent with good labor and manufacturing practices. A product development engineer may also be responsible for contact with outside vendors and for the administration of contracts to accomplish goals. A product development engineer works on problems of moderate scope, where analysis of a situation or data requires a review of identifiable factors. The job requires a bachelor of science degree or equivalent and 0 to 2 years' related experience.

  6. Biomedical Engineer: "Biomedical Engineers use knowledge of engineering, biology, and he medical field to develop new tools and products that better the lives of patients. They often undertake research products with scientists from other fields, engineers or business professionals to develop these products. Biomedical engineers develop products such as prostheses (artificial limbs), artificial organs, information systems, and imaging systems.

Biomedical engineering also involves developing products for inside the body as well. This includes devices for regulating heart beat or insulin. At the leading edge of this area of biomedical engineering is bionics. The development of something like the Terminator would require a lot of help from biomedical engineers." 1. Biomedical Engi: Uses biotech combined with engineering principles to create not drugs, but physical products that can improve someone's life. These include artificial organ replacements, prosthetic limbs (what I want to develop),or medical imagers. They also develop implants and long-term drug delivery systems, like insulin and the injector pens used for it.
